What to Expect When You Come for a Visit...
Whether you've visited several times, or are just thinking about coming to Chapel Hill Church, we're glad to have you join us. We've outlined a few items that may be helpful to you.
Find The Church
Chapel Hill Church is located at 4888 Pilot Knob Road in Eagan, just south of Cliff Road. We have ample parking and reserve guest parking close to the door.
Before the service
Coffee is available in the lobby before the service and covered beverages are welcome in the sanctuary. Come in time to meet a few in our church family and get your questions answered. The lobby is stocked with slat boards and brochures for you to go deeper in learning about CHC and upcoming events.
theNINE is a time for meetings, occasional short-term classes and children's choir practice.
theTEN is Chapel Hill's worship service at 10 am.
For your younger children
While adults are in the Worship Center, kids can be listening to their own dynamic message and learning principles that can be lived out all week long. This is available most Sundays during theTEN and is the perfect place for children from birth to grade 5. The staff and volunteers create a safe, fun atmosphere in which children can learn Bible stories and participate in age-appropriate worship. You can check in your child downstairs and remember to keep your tag so that you can pick up your child after the worship time is over.
The service style
At Chapel Hill Church, you will notice a casual atmosphere and people of all ages and walks of life. A greeter will offer a friendly smile and answer any questions you may have. Once inside the sanctuary, an usher will give you a program, which includes church announcements and a note-taking sheet for the message.
During the Service
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. Our worship team will lead us in upbeat, contemporary songs of celebration, as well as more intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way – for many, that means singing and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You are welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Each week Chapel Hill's members and regular attenders make an offering. As a guest, there is no need for you to give. This is an act of worship for our regulars, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives. It also gives Chapel Hill the means to reach more people for Christ in the future. Online Donations.
Every Sunday, our pastors give a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. Past messages are available here. These messages may help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and apply Biblical teaching to your own life.
We usually celebrate communion together on the first Sunday of the month. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer as long as they have made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and gluten free cracker that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven. Parents are encouraged to make certain their children are indeed ready to partake of communion and to assist them during the ceremony.
After the Service
Pick Up Your Kids
If you check a child into kids programming, you will need to personally pick up any of your children that are fifth grade and younger and you must have the registration tag given to you when you dropped them off.
Stop by in the foyer or take a look at our brochures for more information about CHC.
