The Art of Neighboring Study

Online Wednesdays, March 3 - 24, 10:00 - 11:30 am

In this four-session series, based on their book "The Art of Neighboring," Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon help us focus on the people within our neighborhood and learn what it means to be a good neighbor. They discuss the importance of pushing through the uncomfortable feelings that come with communicating, investing in, and caring for the people who live near us. What would our communities look like if we took Jesus’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves seriously? This study does not include homework but there will be an opportunity to go deeper between sessions by reading "The Art of Neighboring." This free online study is open to all women; invite your friends and neighbors to join us!  If interested, please reply by February 28 to Julie Ericson.

1 Samuel Precept Study

Monday nights on Zoom, January 18 - March 8, 7-9 pm

As we wait for that blessed time where we can gather together in person, there are still ways where we can connect, walk alongside one another and learn important truths together. Try something new and join in for this time of connection with God's word and each other as we dig together into the book of 1 Samuel. Through this study we will discover truths about God's heart and how we should live today in light of what pleases Him.  If you have never tried a study like this before, please don't feel intimidated. No experience with bible study is necessary and everyone is welcome! Please reply if interested by January 11th to Betsy Beach.  Workbook costs $18.00 and should be purchased in advance at Shop Precept.

Warrior Women: Deborah

Online Wednesdays, January 27 - February 24, 10:00 - 11:30 am

A faithful warrior for Christ will choose obedience over personal glory, humility instead of pride, and truth spoken with grace. In this five-week series we will explore the story of Deborah, Barak, and Jael and discover what being a warrior for God looks like. This study does not include homework but there will be an opportunity to prepare for the 1st session by reading Judges 4, and to go deeper between sessions. This free online study is open to all women; invite your friends and neighbors to join us!  If interested, please reply by January 24 to Julie Ericson.
